Welcome to my travel page! My name is Catherine Anne, but my friends call me CAS. I was born and raised in North Carolina, but was blessed to have a family that appreciates traveling.

My first trip abroad was Paris and London at the age of 13, for my ‘teenage birthday’ gift. I had the best time with my dad and uncle and couldn’t wait to explore the world further. I then did a homestay in a small Spanish town at the age of 14 and continued to grow my love for traveling. This trip stemmed my desire to have authentic experiences while abroad instead of just visiting the top tourist destinations. 

It is funny how traveling brightens my mood and melts my anxieties away. Does anyone else feel like that?

At home there are loads of obligations – which is just how the world works. But when you experience a new culture and immerse yourself in it, you are rewarded with a calmness and appreciation for the world as a whole. There is truly so much to discover!
